The Challenge

Microsoft's Window's Defender Security Intelligence Center allows B2B and B2C users to submit files suspected as malware, test code before release, or download software designed to keep their PC safe. Microsoft needed to update its existing portal to bring it in line with other Microsoft properties. They wanted to use this opportunity to support new use cases and post-launch, be able to add and update the portal using their current content management system.
My Role
UI Design, Front-end Development, Accessibility
Solution
This project started with assessing user behavior on the old portal and quickly mastering Microsoft's Web Framework (MWF) design guidelines.
Working closely with the Project Manager, UX Designer, and three members of the development team, I created the final code for the site ensuring that the final experience was responsive, adaptive, and fully accessible.
Early in the project, I'm provided redlines for each content section as well as for four email templates. I script each page using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and MWF (Microsoft Web Framework).
